An enhanced Vestibular Lab is key to ongoing success for the Ear, Nose and Throat team at HSC. This means equipping our Vestibular Lab to be best in country and starting our own cochlear implant program.

HSC has recruited Dr. Jordan Hochman, Neurotologic and Lateral Skullbase Surgery, with the intention of getting a cochlear implant program off the ground in 2010. A number of patient groups will benefit from an enhanced Vestibular Lab, including elderly patients with mobility and / or ambulatory difficulties, patients who have experienced stroke or multiple sclerosis, head and brain injury patients, and patients with Meniere’s disease.
