CBC Day of Hope

It was wonderful to hear from all the supporters of the Hope Project- thank you so much for calling in with your gift or listening to our stories of the Health Sciences Centre Foundation’s CBC Day of Hope on the radio. 

The Hope Project is a fundraising initiative for the refurbishment of the Acute Leukemia/Blood & Marrow Transplant/Oncology unit here at HSC. Patients on this unit are highly susceptible to infection, and therefore must remain on the unit for a month at a time, and sometimes even longer.  The refurbishment will make the unit a more comforting place for patients and their families during a vulnerable time in their lives.
