Ways to Give - Champions of Care
Who is YOUR Champion of Care at HSC?
Many actions inspire gratitude every day at Health Sciences Centre, in many areas of care at the hospital. On occasion people ask how they may honour someone at HSC who has made a meaningful difference in their life, or that of a loved one. The nurse whose skill and compassion helped you through your journey, the doctor who saved a life, or the person who gave you a smile and kind words when you needed it the most.
Champions of Care gives you the opportunity to recognize and support excellence in patient care by honouring someone who has made a meaningful difference in your life with a gift to the HSC Foundation.
Compassionate doctor with patientYour donation provides a personal way to say thank you to the person or team who made an impression on you. Your recognition will also let them know their efforts are noticed and are valued. By making a donation, your Champion of Care will be recognized and thanked on your behalf. And your donation will help put the latest medical technology and equipment in the hands of our expert medical teams – allowing them to improve the care they provide and save more lives.
Your gift today will also mean the world to your Champion of Care, and help them continue to offer the very best care possible. Your Champion of Care will receive a pin to wear with pride. Units will receive a framed certificate to display. And we will pass along any personal message you provide us with. You will also know that know that you have given back to the place that has helped you or a loved one, and so many of us in this community.
Read about Dr. Neil Berrington, a neurosurgeon at HSC, who received this very special honour.
