Celebrating Together

Ethan celebrated his 6th birthday on January 4, 2009. There was a party with friends and games and birthday cake... but no presents.

The ‘no presents’ part was Ethan’s idea. He decided that instead of receiving gifts, he would ask his friends to give a present to the HSC Foundation.

You see, his mom works at the Health Sciences Centre, so Ethan knows that when you help the HSC Foundation, you help people like his mom help other people who really need the incredible care they find at HSC.

We were very proud to meet Ethan after school one day to accept his gift of $150 - warm smile included. It is our privilege to be entrusted with such generosity of spirit.
