To Paul "the wonder nurse"

My daughter was born on February 9, 2009. for the last hour of my labor and for my delivery I had a nurse named Paul. At first I thought "I don't want a guy nurse for this" but I quickly realized that I was blessed to have him be part of Melissa's birth. He was a fabulous nurse who made me feel relaxed and comfortable. And even though it was very busy and tons of babies were being born that night, he still made me feel like I was his only patient. One of my favorite pictures in my daughters scrapbook, is one taken moments after she was born. She is sucking on a gloved hand, attached to a hairy arm lol. People often look at it and say "is that a male nurse" and I always say "if you have another baby, hopefully Paul the wonder-nurse will be working." I only wished he had been working a year later when my son was born.
Thank you Paul for making an already wonderful day so much better.
