2017 HSC Millionaire Lottery Grand Prize And 50/50 Winners Announced

Thursday, December 7, 2017—WINNIPEG, MB—Today, the Health Sciences Centre Foundation held its grand prize draw for the 2017 HSC Millionaire Lottery, giving someone the chance to become Manitoba’s newest millionaire. The 50/50 winner was also drawn today. The lottery helps support Manitoba families through promising research initiatives and cutting-edge technology and facilities.
The winner of the Grand Prize is ticket number #44455 belonging to Eleanor Brockington of Winnipeg. As part of this year’s lottery, Brockington will choose between a fully furnished beautiful new home by Pioneer Building in North River Heights, an award-winning home design by Maric Homes to be built on the river in Headingley in the exclusive community of On the Edge Properties, an ocean-view cottage in British Columbia, or $1.1M cash.
The 50/50 prize, totalling $844,620 with the winner taking home half that amount, was won by ticket number #650638 belonging to Don Bolduc of Winnipeg.

Starting January 1, 2018 until January 30, 2018, a new Daily Big Passport Plus winner will choose between $2,500 cash or a weekend trip to Las Vegas, Chicago, or Scottsdale for two. On January 31st, one lucky winner will choose between $15,000 cash, or an Italian getaway for two, including a trip from Rome to Venice with stops in Monaco, an Italian cooking class, a Lamborghini ride, and a wine tour.
Ticket buyers can watch for winners as they appear on in the coming days, and in the Winnipeg Free Press on December 20th, 2017.
