Keeping Abreast
In less than three years and with your tremendous help, Keeping Abreast has raised over $390,000.00 and has made a significant difference for Manitoba women with breast cancer who require mastectomies with immediate reconstruction surgery. These funds have been used to purchase state of the art surgical equipment, provide research software and computers, and the development of a breast reconstruction website that provides vital pre and post surgical information for patients and their families. As well, dollars from the Keeping Abreast Fund have financed educational opportunities for the reconstruction medical team to ensure Manitoba remains the centre of excellence in this field and provides the best and latest treatment for local patients.
The Keeping Abreast committee is asking for your support to help us continue to enhance the lives of Manitoba women with breast cancer by generously agreeing to become a sponsor, prize donor or patron of the 2010 Keeping Abreast ”Main Event”.
Thank you so much for your consideration and continued support of our efforts. Please visit www.keepingabreast.org for further details.
