Thank you for teaming up for a healthier Manitoba! Lottery proceeds support patient care for patients that rely on St. Boniface Hospital, Health Sciences Centre, and HSC Children’s Hospital
July 13, 2023 (Winnipeg, MB) – This morning, one lucky Manitoban was drawn as the winner of the 2023 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery Grand Prize and one as the winner of the 50/50 PLUS.
Manitoba’s three cornerstone hospital foundations – St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, Health Sciences Centre Foundation (HSC Foundation), and Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba – teamed up again to make dreams a reality and turn one member of our province into an instant millionaire.
Congratulations to Grand Prize Draw winner, Andrea Musto of Winnipeg, MB, with ticket number 6039932. Musto will choose between a tax-free cash prize of $1.25 million, or one of five home packages – each worth over $1.5 million!
The 50/50 PLUS winner was also drawn today. Ellen M. Landers of Brandon, MB, with ticket number 6574120 is the winner of Manitoba’s biggest 50/50, totalling $1,392,880 and will take home $696,440.
“Heartfelt thanks to the thousands of people who support our Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery,” said Karen Fowler, President and CEO, St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, on behalf of Jonathon Lyon, President and CEO, HSC Foundation, and Stefano Grande, President and CEO, Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
“Manitobans depend on our three hospitals to be there in their moments of greatest need, and by working together we can do more than we ever could alone. From life-saving technology to innovative research, and world-class programs and services, ticket buyers directly help improve care at Manitoba’s largest hospitals.”
This year’s winners will be published online at trihospitaldream.com starting today, July 13, 2023, and all winners will be posted online by July 18, 2023. All winners will be notified.
Together, St. Boniface Hospital, Health Sciences Centre, and HSC Children’s Hospital serve nearly one million patients annually and help deliver close to 11,000 babies each year. From labour and delivery to palliative care… We are here for you, and we are here for life.
The funds raised from this year’s lottery will be directed toward improving patient care, funding research, and purchasing specialized equipment and technology, which will benefit all the patients that visit our hospitals annually—and all our doctors, nurses, staff, and allied health care professionals who work so hard for our province and all Manitobans.
