Lottery proceeds support patient care at Health Sciences Centre, Manitoba’s hospital
November 27, 2024 (WINNIPEG, MB) – Today, two lucky Manitobans were revealed as the recipients of life-changing prizes! One resident is walking away as the winner of the 2024 HSC Millionaire Grand Prize draw, and another hit the jackpot with the 50/50 PLUS draw.
Congratulations to Grand Prize Draw winner, Cyndi Hawthorne, of Selkirk, Manitoba, with ticket number 1004020. Hawthorne will choose between a tax-free cash prize of $1.25 million, or one of six home packages—worth up to $1.5 million!
The 50/50 PLUS winner was also drawn today. Wilfred Pitz, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, with ticket number 1120386 is the winner of one of the largest 50/50s in Manitoba, totaling $1,390,700, and will take home $695,350!
