Embrace Your Reflection: Movement in the Park

June 23 | July 7, 28 | August 25 at 6 PM
This summer, Jody Unrau from Embrace Your Reflection is hosting a series of 90-minute outdoor wellness experiences at Assiniboine Park that blend movement, mindfulness, and community. Each event includes a full-body workout, guided reflection, and yoga session, along with time to explore local wellness pop-ups before and after the class.
Designed to energize, ground, and connect, these experiences bring together local instructors, businesses, and community members to create a meaningful and uplifting atmosphere. All fitness levels are welcome. Classes are $25, with proceeds supporting the HSC Eating Disorder Program. Register today.
Johnny’s Big Swim Is Back!

Jon Fenton is a two-time Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor. He was first treated at Health Sciences Centre in 1999 and later underwent a stem cell transplant in Calgary in 2020 after his cancer returned. Now six years cancer-free, Jon is once again taking on the challenge of swimming approximately 26 kilometres from Grand Beach to Gimli, Manitoba, as a way to give back to the teams and organizations that supported him through his journey.
Last year’s swim raised over $15,000 for the HSC Foundation. Funds raised this year will support patient care, life-saving medical research, and innovation at HSC Winnipeg, Manitoba’s hospital.
Jonny’s Big Swim 2 is planned for late July or mid-August—get your donations in now to support Jon’s efforts and help make a difference for cancer patients and their families!
