National Nursing Week runs May 8-14, 2023, and this year’s theme, ‘Our Nurses. Our Future.’ showcases the many roles that nurses play in a patient’s health-care journey.

This year, we are shining a light on Jason Douglas, RN, Manager of Patient Care in HSC Winnipeg’s Inpatient Neurosurgery Unit; Heather Chapko, RN, BN, Nurse Clinician in HSC’s RR4 Plastic Surgery Clinic; and Brysen Guenther, RN, BN, perioperative nurse in HSC’s Adult Surgery program.
